Supported Watches
CodesWallet supports 74 Garmin watches, from the latest fēnix 9, Approach S72, Enduro 4 and MARQ (Gen 3) back to the fēnix 6 Pro. Screen size and shape affect how much a code can show at once; display type affects brightness and battery behavior while scanning.
Physical-obstruction exclusions. Instinct 3 Solar 45mm/50mm and Instinct E 40mm/45mm are excluded because their circular physical subscreens can cover part of a code. Instinct Crossover AMOLED is excluded because its mechanical hands sit above the display.
Older watches with 128 KB of app memory. Some older Garmin watches give an app only 128 KB of memory, and that has to hold the app itself as well as everything it uses while running. CodesWallet with all 15 formats needs more than that, so rather than a cut-down version with formats missing, these watches are not supported: fēnix 5 / quatix 5, fēnix 5S, fēnix 6 / 6 Solar / 6 Dual Power, fēnix 6S / 6S Solar / 6S Dual Power, fēnix Chronos, Enduro (first generation), Forerunner 55, Forerunner 245, Forerunner 645, Forerunner 935, Venu Sq, vívoactive 3 and vívoactive 3 Mercedes-Benz Collection. Their models with more memory, such as the Forerunner 245 Music and 645 Music, Venu Sq Music, fēnix 5 Plus and fēnix 6 Pro, are supported.

All supported watches
The fēnix 6 Pro and 6X Pro families run Connect IQ 3.4, so they differ from the other watches in two ways: CodesWallet opens from the apps list rather than a glance, and Garmin Connect Instant Keyboard is not available, so codes are entered from the phone.
Watches that are not listed. CodesWallet is a paid app, and the Connect IQ Store sells paid apps only for watches Garmin still updates. Older models such as the fēnix 5 Plus family, Forerunner 245 Music / 645 Music / 745 / 945, Venu, Venu D, Venu Sq Music, vívoactive 3 Music, vívoactive 4 / 4S, Descent Mk1 / Mk2, D2 Air / Air X10 / Delta, the earlier MARQ editions and the hero and saga editions are therefore not offered, along with quatix 6 and quatix 6X.
Sorted alphabetically. The Connect IQ ID is the internal device identifier Garmin Connect Mobile uses to match your watch to the correct build.
About Connect Instant Keyboard. Available means Garmin documentation supports phone-assisted text entry for that watch family. Not available records a physical-device test where Venu 2 Plus kept text entry on the watch instead of opening Garmin Connect. Unverified means no conclusive documentation or physical test is available yet. When supported, keep the watch paired and Garmin Connect open on your phone with Instant Keyboard enabled.
